When I was a kid, the 1998 version of Madeline by Ludwig Bemelmens was my favorite movie ever. I must have watched it at least 5000 times. I knew it word for word. haha.
Last night my best friend and I watched it again and this time got all the adult jokes that went over our heads as kids.
We were talking about how Madeline and Pepito would grow up and have a totally complicated tsundere relationship going on. And how they'd go on dates on a Vespa and Madeline would drive. Way too fast. And run over things. And generally wreak havoc, because that's what she does.
Pleeease tell me I'm not the only one who loved Madeline. haha.
