The Big 1-0-0

For New Mexico's centennial. Which was actually like 3 days ago, but let's pretend that this is on time Maryland is always fashionably late.

Congratulations, New Mexico, now you are officially OLD. A centenarian, as they say. 'Course, you've still got nothing on most of the other states, so I suppose you get to be babied for just a bit longer.

Anyway, yeah. Pretty self-explanitory, I guess. Maryland tends to go overboard for states' centennial/sesquicentennial/bicentennial/etc celebrations. I have also discovered (lol) that she loves to bake things, like cakes and cookies and such (on Facebook half her status updates seem to involve food). So yeah, she went and made New Mexico 100 cupcakes. DC helped out actually the cupcake thing was DC's idea to begin with. For a supposed health freak, she doesn't feel too guilty at all about this.

idk if you can read it, but on the last row of cupcakes it says "with <3 from [Maryland flag]."

NM's like "zomg so much sugar, imma die." And Rosie, her alien, is like "It's a government conspiracy." How is she ever going to eat all of those? Maybe Rosie will help?

This looks deceptively simple. It still took me like 6 hours because of those freaking cupcakes. No, I didn't draw each of them individually (thank god for the duplicate layer tool), but I did color them all individually, which was pretty tedious. Also, perspective. Sheesh. Sorry for the laziest-ass background ever, haha.
